Day 4 - 7/7

Day 4 - 7/7

Today we have a blog from Darren (Philippines) and Laurence (Belgium).

Darren from the Philippines:

Laurence from Belgium:

Yesterday, we sang the CISV song, then went for breakfast.
We played a game where you get a sheet of paper with different sentences written, like “my favorite colour is blue” or so. Next to that sentence we had to write the name of someone for whom the sentence was true.
Then we played a game where we had to cross the football field, and the JCs were “monsters”, and if they caught you you would “die”. The other kids could make you come back to life if four people carried you back to the side of the football field.
During lunch I was sitting with very nice people, we had soup and quesadillas, and it was very good!

In the afternoon we played one more game where someone was standing in the middle of a circle, and then would come to you. You had to say the name of somebody else to send him away before he touches you with a newspaper.
In the evening we wrote “thank you” letters to our host families, the staff and the people who let us stay in their rooms. And then we had lullabies, where we sang a few songs.
I’m happy with my day because I met new people (like the girls from France, …)
